Gena Rowlands, nascida Virginia Cathryn Rowlands (Madison, Wisconsin, 19 de junho de 1930 — Indian Wells, 14 de agosto de 2024) foi uma atriz estadunidense.
Ela ganhou proeminência por suas colaborações com seu marido, o ator e diretor John Cassavetes, em dez filmes, incluindo A Woman Under the Influence (1974) e Gloria (1980), ambos os quais lhe renderam indicações ao Oscar.[1] Também venceu o Urso de Prata de melhor atriz por Opening Night (1977). Outros papéis notáveis incluíram The Brink's Job (1978), de William Friedkin; Another Woman (1988), de Woody Allen; Night on Earth (1991), de Jim Jarmusch; Hysterical Blindness (2002), de Mira Nair; e The Notebook (2004), de seu filho Nick Cassavetes.
Rowlands morreu em 14 de agosto de 2024, aos 94 anos, em Indian Wells.[2]
