Valerie Ritchie Perrine (Galveston, 3 de setembro de 1943 – Beverly Hills, 23 de março de 2026) foi uma atriz e modelo norte-americana.

Carreira

Em 1975, recebeu o prémio de melhor de interpretação feminina no Festival de Cannes por seu trabalho em Lenny, pelo qual ela também foi indicada ao Oscar de Melhor Atriz.

Em 1978 atuou no filme Superman, de Richard Donner, interpretando a deslumbrante Eve Teschmacher, consorte de Lex Luthor. Ficou reconhecida, ainda, pelos filmes Matadouro 5 (1972), The Electric Horseman (1979) e Superman II (1980).[1]

Foi diagnosticada com Parkinsonismo em 2015. Em 2020, Stacey Souther realizou e produziu "Valerie", um documentário de 45 minutos sobre a sua carreira e experiência com a doença de Parkinson.[2]

Morreu a 23 de março de 2026, aos 82 anos, na sua casa em Beverly Hills.[3][4]
