Introdução
Use this guide to replace a broken toilet flapper chain in your toilet.
The toilet chain is the thing that connects the handle to the toilet flapper. When you push the handle, the chain moves, causing the flapper to lift as part of the flushing process. As a toilet ages, rust can sometimes build up on the flapper chain. Over time, this rust weakens the chain, and one flush may cause it to break.
Before starting, check to ensure the handle is rotating smoothly and that you are holding it all the way down (or up, depending on the handle) during flushing. Doing this will help save time in determining whether an improper flushing technique is being used, whether the handle needs repair, or if a chain replacement is actually necessary.
