Oliver Cromwell (25 de abril de 1599, em Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, Inglaterra - 3 de setembro de 1658) foi um político britânico. Adquirindo o título de Lorde Protector no seguimento do derrube da monarquia britânica, ele governou a Inglaterra, Escócia e Irlanda desde 16 de dezembro de 1653 até à sua morte, a qual se crê ter sido causada ou por malária ou por envenenamento.
