- 1 – A Porsche não conseguiu marcar em Laguna Seca devido a uma infracção técnica, pelo que não conseguiu os 35 pontos que o vencedor normalmente recebe. Audi terminou em segundo no campeonato dos fabricantes que corrida, mas eles não receberam os pontos para o primeiro lugar.[31]
