Peter Engel (Nova Iorque, 30 de junho de 1936 – Santa Mônica, 4 de março de 2025) foi um produtor de televisão estadunidense, mais conhecido por produzir séries de televisão do TNBC, como Saved by the Bell, California Dreams, Hang Time e City Guys, que notoriamente, foram as mais bem-sucedidas durante toda a existência do bloco.
Vida e carreira
Depois de produzir séries focadas em adolescentes para a NBC, Engel fez a transição para a produção de reality shows.[1] Um projeto de reality show que Engel produziu é o reality show da NBC Last Comic Standing.
Engel nasceu em 30 de junho de 1936[2] criado como judeu antes de se converter ao cristianismo.[3] Ele lançou um livro de memórias intitulado I Was Saved by the Bell: Stories of Life, Love, and Dreams That Do Come True.[4]
Morte
Engel morreu no dia 4 de março de 2025, aos 88 anos em Santa Mônica, Califórnia.[5]
