Mike Dopud é um ator, dublê e ex-jogador de futebol americano e hóquei no gelo canadense.
Entre seus papéis mais conhecidos estão Jason Micic em Power, Kimbo Comstock em Arctic Air, Roy McAfee em Cedar Cove, Viktor Mikalek em Arrow e Michael Vinson em The 100. Ele também teve vários papéis menores em Stargate SG-1 e Stargate Atlantis, além de realizar muitas cenas de ação em ambas as séries, antes de assumir um papel maior como Varro em Stargate Universe.
Ele foi indicado ao prêmio Taurus World Stunt Award em 2005 por seu trabalho em Walking Tall.[1]
Biografia
De ascendência sérvia, Dopud nasceu em Montreal, Quebec. Ele frequentou a Southern Illinois University com uma bolsa de futebol americano, obtendo um diploma em educação física. Depois da faculdade, ele foi selecionado pelo Saskatchewan Roughriders em 1991 como running back,[2][3] mas foi dispensado devido a uma lesão durante a pré-temporada. Mais tarde, ele jogou pelo Birmingham Fire.[4] Ele também jogou hóquei no gelo pelo Gatineau Olympiques e pelo Columbus Chill.[4]
