Clifford Ambrose Truesdell III (Los Angeles, 18 de fevereiro de 1919 — Baltimore, 14 de janeiro de 2000) foi um matemático estadunidense.

Foi professor de mecânica racional na Universidade Johns Hopkins, de 1961 até seu falecimento.^[1] Foi orientador de Walter Noll.^[2]

Truesdell foi fundador e editor das publicações Archive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis e Archive for the History of Exact Sciences.
