Alex Zahara (Grande Prairie, 31 de outubro de 1965)[1] é um ator e dublador canadense.
Vida e carreira
Nascido em Grande Prairie, em Alberta, Canadá, Zahara dedicou-se à atuação desde jovem. Enquanto cursava o ensino médio, recebeu uma bolsa de estudos para a faculdade por dirigir uma adaptação teatral de M*A*S*H.[2][3] Frequentou a Universidade de Alberta e a Universidade da Colúmbia Britânica, pela qual obteve um bacharelado em Belas Artes com ênfase em teatro em 1996. Posteriormente, ele passou a lecionar atuação para adolescentes na Escola de Cinema de Vancouver.[2][4]
Começou a atuar profissionalmente desempenhando papéis pontuais em dramas policiais televisivos como Viper e The Sentinel, e no filme de ação e aventura The 13th Warrior, com Antonio Banderas. Entre seus trabalhos posteriores estão aparições únicas em um grande número de séries, um papel recorrente na sitcom pós-apocalíptica Jeremiah e várias participações especiais na saga de ação e ficção científica Stargate SG-1. Seus créditos cinematográficos incluem grande produções como 2012 (2009), Horns (2013) e Final Destination Bloodlines (2025).[2][5] Zahara também contribuiu para diversas dublagens de animes e jogos eletrônicos, entre os quais Iron Man: Armored Adventures, Gintama, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Dead Rising 2 e Lego Jurassic World.[6]
