Hello! My name is Jarvis and I'm a Computer Science major at Austin Community College. My interest in computer science started out with my curiosity with our first home computer as a child. I was always tinkering with it and wondered how it ticked. In the near future I hope to contribute to the growing conversation of ethical and philosophical disquisitions on the topic of artificial intelligence and its uses in society. A little late to the party, I suppose, but better late than never!
As the resident tinkerer in my house, I've had ample opportunities to repair things ranging from household things like the broken water valve our toilet basin or repairing broken dresser drawers to automotive such as fixing broken sparkplugs or headlights. Most of the skills I learned from my handyman father growing up who instilled in me the value of taking care of your stuff! I think that this project in a way helps connects me back to those roots by being able to share with others ways to repair rather than replace.
In my spare time I enjoy reading manga, watching anime and going to the gym.
