Hello! I am a 3rd-year Design student at UC Davis, with a focus on graphic design. I chose this major because it allows me to be interdisciplinary in the work I produce.
At UC Davis, I am currently an intern for a student-run design agency called All Things Design (ATD). I am also highly involved with UCD's Fil-Am community by attending and volunteering in various events.
In the future, I want to work in the entertainment or sports industry as a graphic designer or creative director. In the entertainment industry, I hope to work with musicians like Daniel Caesar, Tyler, the Creator, or any up-and-coming artists. In the sports industry, I want to work within basketball, specifically for the Golden State Warriors and Valkyries.
I have experience in digital design, photography, videography, painting, drawing, sculpture-making, sewing, and model-making. As for hobbies, I enjoy discovering new views or lookout points, visiting museums, going on bike rides, reading, singing, playing the guitar, and cooking.
Some of my favorite works have been an abstract architectural sculpture and a "self-portrait" in the form of a CD cover, and designing graphics for the Chase Center's jumbotron!
My repair experience is limited to replacing dead batteries, but I want to learn how to fix cars as a hobby.
I am thrilled to be working on this repair guide project with my group because it allows me to practice various skills that I will need in future jobs. I get to practice photography, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, writing, and communication.
