Matthew Szabo

Some skills that I have developed and acquired in my educational and professional career so far are teamwork, leadership, and problem solving. Through work and team projects, these are skills I have learned to focus and sharpen to a proficient level. I have also learned to efficiently utilize many softwares such as COMSOL, NX Siemens, MATLAB, and all Microsoft productivity applications. I have hands on experience in working with traditional lathes, vertical mills, and hand tools, such as chisels, handsaws, and drills. An accomplishment of mine that I am most proud of is being a part of a team that built a 10x10 ft timber frame by carving oak beams using the aforementioned hand tools and high levels of communication and coordination.
