I am a sophomore studying biomedical engineering at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
I am studying biomedical engineering with the hope of advancing the technology of prosthetics and cell and tissue engineering to help people in need. Growing up, I was always fond of solving puzzles and complex problems. I was super interested in my mom's work in the field of radiology. These two things together have pushed me to pursue a degree in biomedical engineering.
I have worked for North Creek Inc, a construction company in Chicago, Il, that specializes in home remodels, repairs, and residential work. While working for this company, I gained a lot of hands-on experience, improving my problem-solving skills, and repair knowledge. We have worked on gas station remodels/builds, office additions, bathroom/kitchen remodels deck installations and roof extensions. All these projects have a vast set of skills and wide range of knowledge that will help me advance in my field.
