Hello, my name is Dale Caddeus, and I am a sophomore at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth studying Mechanical Engineering.
I chose this major because, as a kid, I always loved assembling and disassembling different products. At first, mechanical engineering wasn't my first option; it was electrical engineering because I was fascinated by how electricity worked to power phones, consoles, etc. After further research and me getting into my own head, I swapped majors due to me being a clumsy kid and having a short memory. I realized electrical engineering could pose a hazard, especially due to electricity, so I switched to what I truly had a passion for, which included mechanical engineering.
