- I am a Sophomore at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth
- I am a part of the Civil Engineering Program at UMass Dartmouth. I chose this major due to how broad it is and because you can take so many different avenues.
- After graduation, I hope to acquire my Civil Engineering license and start my own practice either designing septic tanks or as a Structural Engineer.
- Some special skills that I have are house framing and other construction-related skills, in addition to machine operation.
- Something I've built that I am proud of is the Stick framing for a Gable Roof.
- I have fixed a number of things. At work, I have performed repairs on barbed wire fencing, my truck, and farm/woodshop equipment.
- Some accolades I have received are the National Honor Society, the National Technical Honor Society, and Massachusetts Commonwealth Honors Scholar.
- In my spare time, I enjoy watching football and going to the gym.
- My experience with this project will help me personally because it will improve my communication skills in a technical setting, my ability to work in a team, and display my ability to work with my hands and efficiently carry out tasks.
