Nancy Jackson

I'm a sophomore civil engineering student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. I chose my major because I have always been interested in why highways and roads are designed the way they were so I decided to major in civil engineering.

I am not sure which type of civil engineering job I am looking for yet. I'm thinking about dealing with highways or bridges in specific. I hope to get a well paying job and have a good work life balance.

The only things I have repaired are Xbox and Nintendo Switch controllers. I like to take apart my Xbox controllers and add different colored shells or buttons and overall customize the look. I also have also replaced a USB port and rearranged the rumble motors in the controller.

I love playing board games with my friends and family, as well as baking for them in the winter time. I taught myself how to crochet and knit. I like to play video games. I also really love to explore different conservation areas with my dog.

This project is going to strengthen my written technical communication skills as well as my verbal skills. I think working with a team doing something we are not very familiar with will be a great experience to learn all kinds different skills.
