• I am a sophomore majoring in Civil Engineering and minoring in Sustainability at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
  • I have always been passionate about the environment, and I want to design infrastructure that directly improves people's lives while considering the long-term environmental factors that play a role in the world.

  • I am a member of the Society of Women Engineers at UMass Dartmouth. I've been able to volunteer at events like STEM4Girls held at the university, where I helped out in my professor's workshop. We created biodegradable plastic out of gelatin and talked about plastic pollution with middle school girls who were also interested in STEM.
  • In my free time, I like being outside and going on walks or hikes with my friends, going to the gym, going to concerts, and watching movies or shows.
  • I feel like this project will benefit me because it will help improve my problem-solving skills, communication, and teamwork, which are all important factors for my future.
