Hi, I’m Jailene Denova! I’m currently working toward an associate degree as a Tax Specialist and a bookkeeping certificate at Austin Community College. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved solving math problems, which led me to choose a career in accounting and finance.
In the future, I hope to run my own business and be my own boss. If that doesn’t work out, having a remote job would be a great way to stay flexible and independent.
Some of my skills are:
- Advanced math
- Project and task management
- Financial software proficiency
- Problem solving and critical thinking
I’m not a professional, but I’m a big believer in learning by doing. By watching tutorials, and doing some research everything can be fixed. For example, I recently fixed the dryer at home with the help of tutorials.
When I’m not studying or working, I enjoy baking, building LEGO sets, doing puzzles, and playing logic games like Sudoku on my phone. I’ve always enjoyed building and figuring things out, which I think helps me a lot with this project.
This project introduced me to iFixit, which is now going to become my go to site for helpful guides whenever I want to try fixing something new.
