Hello, my name is Henry Diaz. I am a student currently taking my education at Cal State LA with my major being computer science.
My main reason for picking this as my major is that one of my favorite activities to do is play video games. I have played on various devices and consoles as a kid and still do today during my free time. I have always wanted to be able to create my own game but never really had the time to get hands on experience as I had always put my education first. At Cal State LA I have taken courses that would help me gain coding knowledge so that way I would be able to utilize game creating engines efficiently.
The image to the left is a picture of the snake game that me and a team of 4 created for our final project. When taking a computer science course, towards the end of the semester we started to work with JavaFX to create working GUIs that can be interacted with. Planning and developing the snake game was a lot of fun and was my first experience of creating a game.
