About Me:
Hi, my name is Aaron Vasquez, and I am a junior at California State University, Los Angeles, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. My passion for engineering began in childhood while helping my father repair cars. What started as simple tasks—cleaning parts and handing him tools—gradually grew into assisting with major repairs, such as replacing entire engines. These hands-on experiences sparked my curiosity about how machines work and fueled my desire to learn more about mechanical systems. Although I began my career in the automotive repair industry, my father encouraged me to challenge myself and pursue something greater. His motivation inspired me to take the next step and pursue a degree in engineering.
Aspirations:
I hope to pursue a career working with fluid mechanical systems. Throughout my studies, it took time to find my focus within engineering, but I developed a strong interest in how fluids behave and interact within different systems. This has inspired me to learn more about fluid mechanics and apply that knowledge in my future career.
