Hello my name is Samuel Blanton, and I am currently studying Radio-Television-Film Media at Austin Community College. My future career plans are to be a screenwriter, director, and essayist.

I have been strongly influenced by art and media throughout my life and it has grown my interest in philosophy, and psychology. Seeing others perspectives and worldviews has helped me widen my own and the two mediums that have done this the most are literature and film. I hope that I can share my views and love for the world and human nature through my books, essays, and film.

During high school, I worked on the marching bands sound system. Many times I had to repair/replace physical equipment impromptu, as well as had some experience repairing wireless connections for transmitters. Other than that the only things that I've repaired are minor computer and camera parts.

As a writer I seek to improve my writing in all ways such as screenwriting, narrative, expository, poetry, technical, and essay writing. This project will provide me with a decent amount of experience with technical writing which will help me be more concise, organized, and efficient with my writing.

The iFixit project provides experience of working with people on creating a technical document. I hope to improve my collaboration and writing skills with this project.
