About Me

Hello! My name is Angie Telelyuev and I'm majoring in English at California State University.

Aspiration

I chose to study English because I am passionate about all of what our amazing language entails! I'm fascinated by the way our language functions, the way literature touches hearts, and the way that we meaningfully communicate with each other. My long-term goal is to teach college-level, helping students strengthen their language abilities and having confidence in expressing themselves.

Skills

I am skilled at writing, editing, and close reading in academic contexts. I am also a very organized individual! A lot of my experience is in designing rubrics, lesson plans, and attempting to connect theory to practical instruction.

Repair Experience

I have done small repairs with the help of family members, such as sewing up holes, fixing bracelet chain links, and replacing batteries on personal items. I've never actually performed fixes on my own.

Accolades

I have received multiple GPA-based awards in high school, college, and university. I also have received the California Seal of Biliteracy in high school for my proficiency in English and Russian.

Hobbies

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching films, and playing guitar. I particularly enjoy gaming as well!

Fun Fact

I have a pet California Kingsnake. His name is Venus!
