About Me

Hello, my name is Jasmine Kao, and I am a mechanical engineering major at the University of North Texas. I come from a family of many engineers, and I love working with my hands. I have general material and project experience from helping with many home renovations and projects around the house.

Some Projects Include:

  • laying tile
  • demolition
  • installing closet units
  • landscaping

Color Guard

In the summer, I spin with the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps. In 2025, we won world championships for the first time in 80 years. I have been spinning for six years, and I love that I can work with my hands in a creative outlet while getting stronger and staying mobile.

I love to read and crochet. I sell custom crochet items in my free time. I love seeing people's reactions when they realize you have worked hard on something just for them.
