Ethan Passons

Hello, my name is Ethan Passons and I am a student at the university of north Texas. I have created this iFixit profile to work on a repair guide for my TECM class. Before this class I actually had never heard of iFixit before. After learning about it I found that this could have been a very useful tool. One of the main reasons I think iFixit could have been useful is for fixing all of my switch or PlayStation controllers that had gotten drift. At least now I know about it, and I'm excited to learn how to use it!

As for my interests and hobbies I am very much into any type of racket or paddle sport. Growing up I played football and basket ball, but when I got into middle school I started playing tennis; I just fell in love. After playing tennis for 6 years I decided to start playing pickle ball and once again fell in love. I also like to play other sports like bad mitten and ping pong, but those I play a bit less competitively than pickle ball or tennis. My other main interest is gaming. I love and have played so many video games, and all different types. Some of my favorites include:

Those are just some of my favorite games, but honestly the list could go on and on!

As for what I am able to do when it comes to things related to iFixit; I haven't really done much, so this will be a good learning experience. The only work I've really done has been some work on my truck; I've changed the tires before, i've removed the whole drive shaft and fixed some broken parts on it, and Ive replaced some head lights and tail lights and bumpers. Although all of that was done with the help of my dad. I am happy to be here on iFixit and am excited to learn!
