Lisa Michelle

My name is Lisa Morris and I am excited to be working with iFixit as a team effort for my Technical Writing course requirement here at the University of North Texas in Denton.

I am a military brat and wife of a retired U.S. Navy Seabee who served and fought for this country in the OEF/OIF war efforts. Because he was recently awarded 100% disability for the sacrifices he made ensuring the safety and security of the free-world as we know it, I was afforded the opportunity to return to a university of higher education and pursue a degree in Public Health.

I am an animal lover and activist finding homes for wayward dogs and cats often working closely with the local animal shelter. I have also been cooking professional southern cuisine since I was eight years-old as my mother was a caterer in the 80's. My favorite meal that everyone loves would be my chicken, sausage and seafood gumbo.

I also have an associate's degree in acting and performing arts and have a passion for film and screen plays. I am looking forward to working with iFixit this semester and can't wait to get started reviewing and writing instructions for your sponsored products!
