Shannon Martin

My name is Shannon Martin! I'm a freshman at the University of North Texas with a major in Speech Pathology. I have hopes to continue my studies into a Masters degree and attend graduate school.

My biggest goal in life is to help people in anyway I can. More specifically, I hope to guide those who have trouble communicating, into being comfortable with speaking and ridding them of their worries. I hope that through my future career, I can help connect families and loved ones that had trouble communicating before.

I also have a huge heart for animals. I spent about two years volunteering at a humane society where I got a lot of experience working with a team for a common goal.

These are two sweet kittens I worked with cuddling!

I am a pretty creative person, I love to sew, make jewelry, embroider, and just make whatever I can with whatever I have. I took AP 3D art my senior year and it is still my favorite class to this day. I also love to watch movies and tv shows, and I love a good bad movie that I can hate watch.
