About Me
Hello, my name is Trevor Martin, and I am currently enrolled as a freshman at the University of North Texas. As of right now I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering, and I am a member of UNT's marching band.
Going a little deeper
Growing up I played baseball for around 8 years but ultimately decided to quit going into high school. Growing up I also loved to sing and unknowingly became quite good at it. Although I don't preferably like to sing in front of others, I still find it as a cool little unexpected talent. I have also been in band for around 8 years and counting and have learned to play many different instruments such as (starting with my main), euphonium, tuba, trombone, and a little bit of french horn/mellophone.
During my time in high school, I was involved in JROTC for all 4 years, Band (varsity band for 3 of the 4 years as well as 3 separate band groups), and Track for 2 years (varsity and non-varsity, 110m + 300m hurdles and high jump). When in JROTC and band, I was in many leadership positions and am grateful that I got to have that experience and learn/grow as a person.
Although I am considered a quiet person, I enjoy being able to meet new people and getting to know them as a person. I like working with people and hearing their side of things and also find myself relatively good at problem-solving/coming to a good consensus with others.
