About Me
Hello, my name is Prosperity Reynolds, and I am majoring in Construction Engineering Technology (CNET) with a minor in Business Administration at the University of North Texas.
Aspirations
I aspire to become a residential architect and eventually own a small architectural firm. From a young age, I’ve been passionate about design and construction, drawn to both the creative and technical aspects of architecture. I look forward to designing beautiful, functional homes that reflect the personalities of those who live in them, while also ensuring they are safe, efficient, and structurally sound. My overall goal is to design homes that people genuinely enjoy living in, while ensuring those spaces are sustainable and have a minimal impact on the environment.
Repair experience
While I don’t have hands on repair experience yet, I’ve always been interested in understanding how computers work particularly the idea of completely disassembling and reassembling one.

How this project relates to me
As a Construction Engineering major, taking something apart and learning how to put it back together is directly connected to what I’ll be doing in the field, just on a larger scale. Construction often involves working with complex systems, understanding how each component functions, and making sure that everything comes together correctly and safely. Getting hands-on experience through this project will help sharpen those skills, even if it’s just with a small object like a device.
Personally, this project is something I’ve always wanted to try. The idea of fully disassembling and reassembling something has always interested me, especially when it comes to understanding how everyday objects actually work. I’ve always been curious about computers and how the parts inside come together to make something functional. Doing this project gives me a chance to finally act on that curiosity and prove to myself that I’m capable of not just imagining how something works but actually figuring it out step-by-step. I see this as a confidence-builder and a small step toward becoming the kind of hands on problem solver I want to be in both my personal and professional life.
Fun facts about me
I have a fur baby named Ghost, and I’ve had him since my freshman year of high school. He’s been with me through everything! I’m a big reader and love all genres, but I have a special place in my heart for dystopian stories and romance novels. I’m also a sucker for R&B music; it’s my go-to for just about any mood.
