Leslie Garcia

Hi everyone, my name is Leslie J. Garcia. I attend the University of North Texas. I am majoring in Theatre with a concentration in acting. I have a great love for musical theatre. I do plan on minoring in a tech-related field. I've been in vocal-related groups like choir my whole life. In high school, I joined other ensemble groups like Latin American Ensemble, Jazz Singers, Musical Theatre Class, along with choir. To me, singing is a big part of my life. I played piano for 6 years, but I wasn't a fan. Coming to this University is a big change because I came in for theatre. I've been in music-related courses in the big parts of my life, so it's a lot of getting used to.

I have such a big love for the arts. I crochet in my free time or when I'm feeling inspired, and I've created many items, like stuffed animals to clothing pieces. I used to do photography, and I would love to take a photography class. I want to get into jewelry making. I want to learn pottery and make things. I want to learn how to sew on a sewing machine. I want to learn how to felt. I could go on and on. I just love learning new artsy-related things.
