Anahi Ramirez

My name is Anahi Ramirez. I'm a freshman at The University of North Texas, in the school of engineering majoring in Construction Management.

I was born and raised Dallas, Texas; I previously attended Yvonne A. Ewell Town view Center the school of health professions, I was originally thinking about going into the medical/health field but I noticed that I couldn't deal with people that much and I like being very hands on, which was what made me change my pathway.

I'm a huge outdoor person I enjoy being outside I like going on walks, running, and fishing it feels very calming. I enjoy doing these activities during the summer, going out to lakes to get in and fish at the same time, or on days I just feel like just fishing we usually just go to ponds and throw the rod to hopefully catch something or at least get a bite. Going on walks or running I usually do when it's not too hot outside, and when I feel like moving more.

Other than enjoying activities outside, I also love trying new things, that being doing and exploring fun activities or something more simple like trying different food. I'm a pretty shy person, but activities like these make me step out of my comfort zone. I recently went zip lining, which was such an amazing experience, the rush of adrenaline, the feeling of just flying through the air and the view from above was very unforgettable.
