Hello! My name is Andrea, and I am currently a freshman majoring in Biomedical Engineering. I am passionate about contributing to the advancement of healthcare through innovation and technology. One of my main goals is to participate in research opportunities that focus on designing and developing medical devices, while ensuring these designs meet high standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability. I aspire to play a meaningful role in solving real-world patient problems by creating solutions that improve their lives. As I begin my journey in this field, I am eager to learn how to fix and troubleshoot technological devices. Gaining familiarity with the materials, tools, and setups I’ll be working with in the future is essential. I believe that learning how to repair and maintain devices will be incredibly valuable. Not only in my academic and professional career, but also in day-to-day life. This project offers a unique opportunity to build hands-on experience in problem-solving and technical repair, both of which are critical skills in biomedical engineering. It will also help me grow personally by boosting my confidence and giving me a clear image of the future I will be heading towards.
