Hello, my name is Patty Nguyen, and I am currently a student at the University of North Texas, where I am pursuing a degree in criminal justice. I chose this major because throughout my journey I have developed strong foundations and morals in legal principles; all encouraging me to take multiple criminal justice and forensic classes. In the future I have goals of becoming a mediator so that I can positively impact people, specifically kids' lives. I especially hope to help navigate those that are struggling mentally and physically in their household environment.
Hobbies:
- Wrestling- I joined wrestling in the middle of my junior year and quickly found my love for it. I decided to start going to extra practices throughout the day and exponentially grew in the sport; by my senior year I had placed at nearly every tournament I went to and made it to state before traveling for a national tournament after my season was over.
- Cooking/baking- growing up I loved cooking and baking for others, exploring and trying new recipes from different cultures.
- Exploring- I've always loved exploring, especially when it comes to nature. When I was younger my little brother and I would adventure down creeks, pipelines, and other destinations in hopes of seeing the waters, wildlife, and other folklore.
