School - I go to University of North Texas (UNT)
Field of Study - My major is Mechanical Engineering and Energy. I chose this major because of my aerospace engineering experience in high school. I really enjoyed it, and hope to potentially pursue it as a career.
Skills - I have aerospace engineering experience, and I'm currently enrolled in a mechanical engineering program at UNT which provides extensive knowledge of mathematics, dynamics, physics, and design.
Achievements/Accomplishments - During my senior year of high school, I built a ~74 inch high power rocket with a team from scratch with a program called SystemsGo. We launched the rocket to nearly 3,000 feet, and successfully recovered it completely intact.
Repair experience - I learned how to sand, paint, and gloss the body tubes and nose cone of the rocket I helped build. I programmed our payload and built the payload bay.
Hobbies - I like to read, play video games, solve Rubik's cubes, and many other things.
How does this project relate to you? - This project relates to me in the fact that it will assist me in my career path. Having knowledge on teaching others to fix broken products will be very useful in the field of engineering, as group work is very often required in the workplace.
