I am getting my Mechanical Engineering and Technology major with a Mathematics minor at the University of North Texas. I chose mechanical engineering because of my interests in math and science throughout my high school years. I took two AP classes senior year at my high school, AP Calculus BC, and AP Physics mechanics / E&M. I passed all my AP tests and got the credits to fill all my math requirements for my major but decided to take more math and invested in a math minor. I have skills in problem solving, structured teamwork assignments, and a basic understanding of calculus and physics. I have made a lot of things out of cardboard and tape with one notable example being a two storied rat maze I made in senior year architecture that spanned three feet, by four feet, and was about a foot and a half high. While I don't have any prior experience I wish to learn how to fix wireless earbuds because mine keep malfunctioning and I wish to know how to fix them if they break. I am currently involved with the SAE team at UNT which makes a race cart from scratch each year and races it in competitions against other schools. This club is giving me more experience with common tools and letting me get a better look at what makes a car run and how to fix it if something breaks. My hobbies include drawing, reading, and. watching youtube.
One of my hobbies is painting
