Hey there. I'm David Stein, I'm currently attending Austin Community College to obtain a bachelors in Cybersecurity in order to get my foot in the door in the field, although one day I'd like to make software tools for a living.
To that end (and for fun), I'm currently proficient in a few different programming languages, regularly work with various Linux distros, have built several computers, and have generally been tinkering with tech since I was little.
As for the here and now, I'm glad to be doing this quick fix project we're working on in class because the handle on my car broke off a couple months ago and I needed to fix it anyways.
I mostly deal in software fixes, but I've had a few hardware troubles over the years that I've had to fix, such as unbending the pins of a CPU or broken cables. As far as other DIY projects, I'm eager to learn.
I have a wealth of different hobbies, and in my spare time I like to try out new OSs, tinker with my existing ones, play video games, and make them too. I also like traveling, seeing new places, talking with strangers, and collecting some items of value.
My pride and joy:
