Hello, my name is Robert Carbajal Gonzalez. I'm a dual-credit student at Navarro Early College High School, actively earning my Associate's of Applied Science in Computer Information Technology: Computer Programming.
I chose to major in computer programming, because I've been passionate about programming since I began programming LEGO Mindstorms and VEX Robotics in Python in 7th grade. Ultimately, I want to land a career in software development or IT.
I'm skilled with Python and familiar with networking, technical writing, Microsoft 365 applications, and public speaking. Through my coursework, I've programmed a variety of Python projects through IDLE Shell. However, I don't have any formal internal hardware repair experience with devices.
At my high school, I received AISD's Trustees' Scholar Award for maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher and being top 10%. Additionally, I received a Viking Gold award for my performance in Advance Algebra 2.
In my spare time I like playing with my dog. My experience in computing will allow me to troubleshoot anything not related to the hardware. Additionally, my familiarity with computer parts will allow me fix hardware.
