- Major
Technical Communication and Information Design with a specialization in Design and Media. I chose this major because it incorporates many subjects I enjoy. It incorporates: art, computer science, game design, and writing. More importantly it is about getting people’s attention, allowing people to understand the tools around them, and marketing products to consumers.
- Aspirations
I would like to start a business to do freelance design and UX (user experience). I would also like to get better at using adobe illustrator and sell high quality prints of my art.
- Skills
I am an artist who usually uses just pens, paper, and digital. I know how to use adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere.
I have sold some of my art at an auction hosted by the VAPA festival at the ENT Center.
I also know how to use 3D modeling software. I am experienced with NomadSculpt.
I used several game engines to make games. For 2D games I use GameMaker. For 3D Games I have used Spline3D and Babylon.js.
- Projects/accomplishments
I got to play the national anthem at Coors Field (The Rookies Stadium) on my clarinet.
- Repair experience
I am usually the person my friends and family go to if they have a software issue needing to be fixed. However, I do not have too much experience with fixing hardware. I would like to continue to grow in this area and overtime become an expert at fixing at least a few things around the house.
- Accolades
I received The Future Leaders Award in New Mexico from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
I made the Deans list last semester, which was my first semester taking a full course load.
- Groups/memberships
I was the Vice President of the Art Club at UCCS for about two years. I am still an active member.
- Hobbies
I love to play video games as well as make my own video games. I also like to make surreal art. I read and write. I like to hike and fish. I like to make experimental music with various instruments. I listen to a wide variety of music.
- How does this project relate to you?
This project relates to me because I grew up on a farm. On that farm we had goats, sheep, cats, dogs, chickens, ducks,…. I have always loved animals and nature and I understand that hair gets everywhere. That hair has to be cleaned from all kinds of stuff like the animals drinking water.
This project will benefit me even if it seems unrelated. That is because I might want to publish a video game at some point. Also my family is starting business and wants me to help by writing procedures and instruction manuals for our products and methods. For both of those scenarios I would need experience in creating clear instructions along with images.

I am a big fan of the Polish artist Zdzisław Beksiński and the French artist Moebius.
I like to read everything about JRR Tolkien’s Middle Earth.
I watch a lot of Halo esports.
