Hello! My name is Torian Stiles, a student at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs (UCCS) majoring in technical writing and design.

My end goal is to become a user experience designer and work either in the software or gaming industry. I also really like the study of artificial intelligence and how it impacts society's growth. When I was younger, I wanted to solve puzzles and test new solutions that could lead to innovative creations. Video games were a major part of my fascination with finding improvements, and this led me to use my skills to fix problems in creative ways.

I aspire to become someone capable of making great design iterations through the use of graphical tools or coding. This is an important goal in the long term that drives me to become a better version of myself and allows me to learn technology as it further advances. I know that technology is an ever-evolving innovation that could pave a path forward in the world. For this reason, I want to use my skills as a technical practitioner to reveal discoveries that change the world for the better.

My projects are aimed at the general public to help others efficiently fix a relevant everyday item that is commonly used. Thus, I will use my experience and background knowledge from the life skills I gained to follow my passion as a designer and tester. Designing the solution to the problem I found troubling would enable me to excel in a professional setting by showing work competency, dedication, and uniqueness. This helps to make me stand out among many competitors and gives me an edge in the workplace. I will also become a more capable architect that can handle more complex tasks which aligns with my personal goal to grow and adapt.

I also really love my cat, his name is Haise. This cat is a Russian blue with green eyes and tabby characteristics, and I am proud of how he turned out without me being home to see him. He gained a lot of muscle and now acts as the caretaker of the other cats, even his head is super filled in for some reason but he is still cute. Also, my obsession with music is one of the biggest factors in my motivation to excel in life, especially when I listen to rock. Despite being a healthy individual, I am still a foodie who can and will consume extreme portions of food to fill the void of calories that I burn. That is a good thing because often I do not get the chance to indulge for discipline reasons.
