Introdução

If you notice that your ionvac SmartClean V2 has a shorter runtime or decreased performance, it may be time to replace the batteries. This guide demonstrates how to remove the lithium-ion battery unit from the bottom of the robot vacuum.

This is a quick and simple repair, but handle all parts gently during removal and reinstallation. Before you begin, power off your ionvac SmartClean V2 and disconnect it from the charging dock.

Caution: If you notice the battery is puffy or smells strange, it may be swollen. Be careful when handling a swollen battery as it can be a fire risk. For more information on swollen batteries and what to do with them, take a look at the What to Do With a Swollen Battery guide.

    • Caution: Before beginning, turn off the ionvac and place it on a level surface.

    • Keep in mind that your ionvac has many small screws that can be easily lost. A magnetic project mat is best to prevent misplacing any parts.

    • Flip your ionvac upside down so the wheels are pointed upwards and the side brushes are furthest from you.

    • Remove the 2 screws that secure the battery door.

    • Lift the battery door to reveal the lithium ion battery.

    • If the battery cover is stuck, use a Jimmy or another prying tool to pry it off.

    • Disconnect the battery by squeezing down on the cream-colored tabs of the battery connectors and pulling them apart.

    • Caution: Be careful when removing the connector, as the part can break if too much force is used.

    • When reinstalling the battery, remember to place it in your ionvac with the white strip facing up. If the battery has two flaps, ensure the flaps are facing up before screwing in the battery door.

I cleaned everything up shut things off for a while plug them back in like it said to do but when I plug it back in again and use the remote to make it go, it beeps and then it goes to the charge light but does not move and a couple minutes charge light is off and both blue lights are on again. could it be the battery?

    help please
