Introdução
Over time, the rechargeable battery in your Uniden DECT 6.0 phone may lose its ability to properly hold a charge. This rechargeable battery powers your cordless phone and allows it to operate wirelessly when removed from the charging base. When the battery loses capacity, it can cause symptoms of quickly drained battery after charging, frequent low battery warnings, or phone may not turn on at all. Fortunately for you, replacing the battery is a quick and simple process that can restore your phone's ability. This guide will provide you step-by-step instructions on how to safely remove the old battery and install a new one. Please note that you will need a compatible battery replacement before starting.

Does it slide down or open out from where the finger groove is?
I can’t get it off.

I had the same problem removing the back. I placed a knife in the center and was finally able to get it off. I think the red & black wire on the battery causes the problem.

I tried knife, but I can't get battery cover off of one of the Uniden phones. I have new batteries but can't get the blasted cover off.
