    • Make sure before proceeding to power down, remove the charger, and close your laptop, to avoid damaging your device or harming yourself.

    • Flip laptop over and locate the RAM cover in the middle of the laptop.

    • Unscrew the screw marked "4"with PH1 screwdriver.

    • Remove cover by lifting up and pulling it out.

    • Push latches outwards away from the RAM chip until it pops up.

    • Fingers may be pinched by the latches.

    • Pull RAM chip out.
