Place the top half near a sink.

Turn it over so you can reach the wingnuts and washers underneath.

Flip it over so the top is accessible.

Remove the wingnuts and washers from the bottom of the top section.

Remove the filter out of the system.

Remove the washer from the filter.

Place the primer button on to the filter.
-
Ensure the primer button is aligned with the filter attachment.

Turn the sink on low so the water runs slowly.

Press the end of the filter with the primer button firmly against the faucet to ensure water flows only into the filter.

Wait for the filter to start sweating to remove the filter away from the sink.

Remove the primer button and place the washer back on the filter.

Place the filter through the hole in the bottom of the top section of the system.

Flip it over so the bottom is facing up.

Rotate the washer clockwise and tighten the wingnut until it is securely attached.
