Introdução

Electric toothbrushes have one or more O-rings to prevent water from entering the handle and damaging electric parts in the handle. If the O-ring wears out, you'll see water seeping through the handle during use.

Bien, mais je ne suis pas sûr que l'eau s'infiltrait par le joint, mais plutôt par la tige centrale du moteur en passant par la tête de la brosse à dent. ( pas bien polis l'utilisateur précédent... ).

Good, but i am not so sure that the water infiltration was through the head - body joint but more from the motor axle tip through the head / moveable parts. when removing the tip, i saw water on the motor shaft.... should keep the toothbrush upside down to dry, then charge when quite dry.

On my 3709 type, there is a second seal groove, but no rubber seal was on it, i may try to add one... for good measure if it fits.

I ordered replacement heads as perhaps the one i have is old and is why it is letting water seep down inside.

I changed the battery as well.
