This guide will show you how to replace the Nostalgia Chocolate Fondue Fountain Baseplate and Switch (mode number CFF965). After the disassembly process, the baseplate and switch can be replaced.

Before beginning the replacement process, make sure that your device is unplugged and clean from any chocolate or any other food. No special skills are required for this project.

    • Lift the tiered tower from the base bowl.

    • Use your hands to lift up the auger (the long black metal spiral) away from the base bowl.

    • Flip over the device so that the bowl is now face down.

    • Use your hands to unscrew both 21.3mm screws.

    • Unscrew all three 14.2 mm screws with a Phillips #2 screwdriver.

    • Unscrew the 9.1 mm screw near the switch with a Phillips #2 screwdriver.

    • Unscrew the two 14.2 mm spanner screws using a spanner screwdriver (size 6).

    • Use your hands to pull up on the baseplate to remove it.

    • Pull the panel with the switch on it upwards.
