Nikon Coolpix L840 battery cover door tab broken. Will not securely lock shut. I used a Velcro strap ( 8in x 1/2in (20.3cm x 1.2cm)) to hold it in place. (Make sure the hook side (not fuzzy) faces the camera body otherwise it may catch on nearby fabric like lining in camera bag, clothing, etc.) There is no need to cut, drill, screw, glue, or use sticky tape as i have seen on the internet.
