3/16" Hex Key

Passo 1

Pry the thread ring off the suspension barrel using your fingers.
The thread ring will be placed directly in front of the tension knob.

Passo 2

Unscrew the tension knob on the suspension barrel until the spring is no longer compressed.
You may need to lift the bike seat to see the spring fully disengaged.
Either record how deep the tension knob is on the barrel or take a picture for reference.

Passo 3

Insert a hex wrench on each side of the rear connection point and unscrew the bolt.

Passo 4

Hold the upper bike frame.

Passo 5

Pull the bolt and threaded socket out from the rear suspension connection point.
If the threaded socket isn't coming out smoothly, try adjusting how much you're lifting the upper frame to reduce the force on the socket.
