Introdução
These Mr. Christmas music boxes are actually fairly good for the price, available on eBay. Most of them work quite well, but I would recommend looking for comments that confirm that they are in good working order, unless you see a great price and enjoy a challenge.
Occasionally, in a unit with bells, there may be a problem. This is one approach to fixing it.

If a bell ringer is not working at all, or they are weak, here is something to try:
-
Remove the 8 screws on the bottom of the box using a small Phillips bit. A battery drill makes fast work.
-
You will see a central circuit board with green leads radiating out to the 6 servo motors.
-
Having identified the bell that has no movement of the striker, look for that specific servo motor on the underside.
-
Although graphite has been recommended, I use a very light machine oil, Hammond organ oil, although you could try sewing machine oil.
-
Make sure to apply it to both ends of the central shaft, tipping the box up for at least 2 hours each way to get the oil to flow towards the core of the servo.
-
Also, gently wiggle the arm back and forth vigorously at least 10 times and repeat this several times during the wait.
-
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
