Follow this guide to replace a dead AA battery in your Logitech M185 wireless mouse.

It’s natural for batteries to lose capacity as they age. If your mouse dies quickly and doesn't hold a charge, it may be time to replace the battery.

    • Before starting, flip the power switch on the bottom of your mouse to the left, so it's in the OFF position.

    • Press down on the battery cover with your thumb and slide it away from the mouse to unclip it.

    • Remove the battery cover.

    • Use your fingers to lift the end of the battery and slide it out of its recess.

    • During reassembly, slide the battery in negative (-) end first, as shown in the recess.
