Detach the spoon attachment. Use a hairdryer to warm up the glue. Use a flat metal tool to pry the spoon where the halves meet. I recommend the non-grip side so damage isn’t as noticeable.

Clean off any corrosion/battery acid from the electrical contacts. Then install new button cell LR14 batteries.

Test everything while the spoon is still apart. Once you are confident the spoon is ready, put glue around the borders of the halves and rejoin them. Use a clip or something to help hold them in place. Zip ties also work. Allow the glue to cure.
