Introdução
Use this guide to restore the convection or system cooling fan in your oven when it becomes noisy, seized or completely dead. A working fan guarantees even baking and protects the electronics from overheating. Follow these instructions to clean, lubricate or replace the fan motor and keep your oven running efficiently.

-
Undo the four screws that secure the round cover behind the fan inside the cavity.
-
Lift the cover away to expose the convection fan.
-
-
-
Slide the built-in oven completely out of the cabinet to expose its metal back.
-
Remove the five screws holding the rear service panel and lift the panel clear.
-
-
-
Undo the black housing screws and swing the upper cover open to reach the cooling fan and electronics.
-
Remove the surrounding ring and the two mounting screws to free the cooling assembly.
-
-
-
Hold the blade steady and loosen the 10 mm nut by turning it clockwise because it is a left-hand thread.
-
Slide the blade and nut off the motor shaft and keep them safe.
-
-
-
Undo the three long Phillips screws that clamp the thermal cut-out bracket to the motor.
-
Lift the motor straight out of the rear housing.

-
If the shaft only feels stiff, lubricate the bushings; if the motor has play or is burnt, source a replacement.

Place the motor back in the housing, align the thermal cut-out bracket and tighten its screws.
-
Reconnect the blue lead to the inner terminal, the white lead to the outer terminal and press the earth strap back on.
-
-
-
Add a tiny drop of oil to the shaft and spin the fan to distribute the lubricant.
-
Return the fan to its original position in the housing.
-
-
-
Hook the cooling assembly into the chassis and reinstall the two black screws.
-
Close the service panel and reinstall all black frame screws.
-
-
-
Hang the bottom edge of the rear panel into its slot and drive in the remaining screws on top and middle.
-
Slide the oven back into the cabinet and secure it with its mounting screws.
-
The fan now spins freely and the oven is ready for reliable convection cooking and safe cooling. Keep photos and notes for the next service and remember a quick clean and lubrication can greatly extend the life of these small motors.
